Senior Category

NB:  Paddlers who finished top three during the last three years are not allowed to race in the same team. They are Hank McGregor and Graeme Solomon 

2.      A fourth member  will be allowed but must be nominated before the closing date for entries

3.       Normal entry fee per member. The team sponsor should pay this too

4.       A team entry fee of R10 000 to be paid by the team sponsor

5.      Teams will use the sponsor’s name, e. g. TEAM INVESTEC and advertise the sponsor’s name on sleeves of their racing top as well as front of racing cap. The rear deck will be available as normal for advertising stickers. A document of agreement is available to Sponsors

6.       Sponsor’s of teams will get excellent media coverage before and during the race

7.      There will be time bonuses of 2 minutes for the team that win the time trial combining their three best times

8.      A team member can win a 2 minute time bonus for his team by winning the sprint at a ‘hot spot’. The following points will be hot spots: Lady Loch Bridge, Hermon Bridge, Gouda Bridge, Train Bridge, Misverstand dam wall, Moravia Bridge, Klipheuwel, Kersefontein and Kliphoek

Masters Category
Prize money will be dependent on the number of teams in each group

Age Group:  35 to 44
Age Group:  45 and above

Entry fee R 5000 plus individual race entry
Time bonuses will not apply
